I've been soooo close lately to drilling some relief holes in mine to help dissipate the heat. If nothing comes of this bulb revision I may just do it.

Not a bad idea. Audi uses tiny fans in the headlight assembly to keep their LED strips cool...

I bench tested my bulbs upon receipt (haven't installed them yet) and found that at any voltage lower than 12v they flicker just like in all the videos. Conversely at any voltage above 12v (the highest I gave them was just over 18v) they work perfectly, but immediately start generating a fairly tremendous amount of heat for their size. My theory based upon my very limited knowledge and those rather crude tests was that the heat is increasing the resistance of the bulb circuit, which is in turn reducing the voltage seen by the LED itself to below their operational threshold and making them flicker. I think it's the little aluminum easy-bake oven housings on the bulbs that is the problem. The housing needs to be more thermally transparent (thinner) to keep from cooking the encased circuitry.

Just got your package from the postal office. It was sent to the wrong address and it just got routed back to us. Here is the package picture. A refund is being issued as we speak.

Hey JLC, no offense before you dissappear on us, im interested in the new bulbs and still have not opened the old set, Whats really going on and how long is it going to take to put it on the market?

Hey Guys,

Sorry been out of the country this past week and a half. Limited to internet access and I had let Logan know.

As of now, the new development is still under progress. So in order to make sure that everyone is happy, my upper management told me to just issue a refund for all the returns, so guys, please send all the bulbs back for those who are looking for a return/refund.

I wouldnt want to keep anyone waiting. Once the bulbs are in good working level, I will out a notice on this thread and hopefully it can work out then. Thank you.

IS,JLC is not running away. But I just wanted everyone to know that it does take some time for the test in order to prevent this situation from happening again. Thank you for being understanding.

Hey mods can you remove the pic so my address does not show? I appreciate the proof though Luis. Thanks

Cool thanks. It's the worldwide web so you never know. Anyway just got my refund

Again IS, I do apologize for the bad communications we are having here. We do not have much experience with group buys, and especially when the item goes wrong. It is hard for us to take care of everything but I do want to reassure everyone here that everything will get taken care of. We are not just a regular out of the garage shops, we are an established physical business with many IS users living close to our area. We are not going to run with anyones money! We just want to provide an excellent product (which in this case, it was a fault at our end for not having tested it thoroughly) thank you.
