Try these. Unfortunately, as I was taking the last picture, I was playing with the brightness of the display and I accidentally hit the reset button. But the Last display read, 23MPG and *** to Empty. The First Picture is when I drove off the Gas Station to the first Stop light. This is about a week after the Supercharger went in. I actually paid attention. At 80MPH about 2.5Krpm, while holding the speed, stayed at 30MPG.

As far as driving habits go. Since the SC went in, I let the 1st get it up to about 15mph, then Punch it on the Second and get to the Speed I want as soon as I can. From there, I let it cruise. My theory is that you get the Lowest MPG while speeding up, so if you can reduce the time between Dead Stop to Cruising Speed, you use less gas. (That's what I tell myself anyway)

BTW 2nd now gives me over 65MPH at 7Krpm. Don't be Hatin'

Hello, I'm new to the scene. I have a 05 fx45, that only gets 238 miles on a full tank:mad.:. What did you do to achieve 400+. Thanks

My mileage has been an issue recently as well. FX45 100,000 averaging 11mpg. Totally odd but changed plugs to what I thought were oem replacement NGK Irridiums and mileage went from 16 to 11. Pulled plugs back out to inspect and they look fine. Also suffering from hard starts as if my battery were dying but the battery has since been replaced with Optima yellow top. Voltage seems fine and does not drop when started. Other sites have stated that the knock sensor could affect mileage. I have not yet made a trip to the dealer for diagnostic check. My personal code scanner does not kick any codes. Any advice would be helpful.
Thank you

If you drive spiritedly than normal then that's normal...

That's pretty much what I average per tank. Around 15.5mpg. Fill ups cost about $6X.XX currently.

I have had mine for about 2 weeks now...averaging 300 miles or 480 kms a tank..which is pretty decent...filling up once a week is the norm

How do i know if my mpg is good. It shows on average i get 14.1 and almost never changes no matter how i drive. I also dont drive very aggressiviely. Is this normal. What else can i look into making my mpg better. And is it possible that the computer may be very inaccurate. How can i fix that? Thanks for any help. 04fx45

I drive 90% on the freeway three times a week, the other 2 days I work from home and I get 19-20MPG. Freeway speed limit around here is 75mph but I think it comes down to driving habits. I use the power when needed but most of the time I'm a bit 'conservative' with her. Must be the age thing, 10 years ago I was a more aggressive driver.

Not much you can do about it. Your 14.1mpg for a 45 is considered decent for NY driving. It is the unique driving conditions in NY that keeps your mpg steady. To be precise your "stop and go". I used to live in NY and my FX35 would average 14 to 15mpg. It doesn't help that I have iron foot. Try taking it to long drives such is in VA, PA, CT and if your mpg would still read like what you described that you may have an issue. Otherwise, I see your average 14.1mpg as normal for an FX45.
