G37 IPL Muffler

Here is a quick video my son took today. The install was a father son project today with my 7 year old. He was excited to finish the job and wanted to be the camera man.

Overall I think this sounds nice. A bit louder that the IPL but no drone. Did about 80 miles on the highway tonight and it sounds good. Not to loud but you can tell the car has balls. Now when I accelerate I can hear the exhaust instead of the induction noise.

Let me know your thoughts.

Sounds nice! So this is just the muffler removal? I'm surprised it's not louder. Another member here removed his muffler from his FX50 and it was really loud and lots of drone. I think he ended up putting it back on, but yours sounds different, a lot quieter.

I created a separate thread that has full pics of what I did to the muffler.

I did not remove the muffler as from what I read and heard it is too loud and has lots of Drone. rather I removed the restrictions inside the OEM muffler to allow for more flow and sound.

I also had the g37s muffler. Now i switched to the sport accessory. Very nice sound to it.

I went with the megan racing g37 axleback. Huge improvement over stock.

I had to extend the tips 41/2 INCHES at a mucfler shop. Ill posg a pic
