Hello all- It is with great sadness that I must part with my 2009 FX50S. Her rear subframe has a rust hole in it. I’ve exhausted all I can for the 5.0 L sport model rear subframe. There were only 500 of this model made in 2009. I wanted to put her out here for anyone interested in her for parts. Engine runs perfectly with 213,000 miles. The mechanic says it will go another 100,000. The transmission shifts fine, never had any issues. Her black leather seats are great. She has the music box equipment. 21” wheels. New $300 battery. Body is in decent shape with rust under roof racks. Anyway, please make me an offer if you could use her. Sad day for sure.

The rear subframe should be the same for all QX70s and 2nd Gen FXs ... be interested to find out why one of those wouldn't work on yours. I'd just hate for you to lose this gem over something like that!

From what I have been told, the sport suspension and 5.0 L engine on this model makes a difference on which part will work. The part number on the cars you referenced is 55400-1CB0E, whereas the part my car needs is 55400-1CF0C (Superseded by 55400-1CF0D). If that is not correct, I would love to fix her! I’ve been told I have to find one of the 500 that were made and hope it lived most of its life in the south or it would very well be rusted as well.

Did a little research and the V8's utilize a larger rear differential housing which requires more clearance, hence a different design. Plus the rear active steer components.
