Hey guys,
Have been long time lurker and always wanted G35/G37 or Fx.
I end up buying FX50S a year ago and unfortunately it's time to say goodbye to the car.

Think to get BMW X6.
I have z4 as daily driver. And I am bmw fan. :/
When I bought fx50 I test drove it next to x6 5.0. But I always liked fx since first gen.
The deffirence between cars wasn't big, but price for x6 is was 30% more so I end up getting fx50.
 
Driving BMW is amazing for road feel, had 2 X5 4.8i before they are amazing but finicky, too hard to maintain if the warranty is out. Also had a 07 MB ML63 AMG, piss of s...t, drives like a boat but damn powerful 503hp stock. I still miss my Bimmers but for reliability I will stick with Infiniti. This is my third Infiniti, had 03 FX35Tech and 08 EX35 before too, they are super reliable. Sometime I miss the road feel of my Bimmer so I just drive my wife Mini Countryman All4. Good luck with your next purchase.

Exactly what you said. Infiniti is more reliable than X5/X6. Will get 3rd party warranty for it as well.
I wanted to get 5.0 v8 bmw, but after talking with friend mechanic from BMW he said the cars had problems are v8, 3.5 vs were rarely in service, but of course they have couple common famous issues.

And looks like I can't post car for sale till I get at least 25 posts :)
 
I am an extreme BMW fan myself as well - I've driven BMWs my entire life and I own an M3 which is my weekend car.

I looked into an X5 or X6 for my wife but the fact that it isn't german built and has a shady reliability record swayed me away from it. I then looked for another SUV that handles as well as an X5 or X6 with more reliability and came up with the Infiniti FX50S. Didn't want to pay for a Cayenne which was basically the only other choice.
