I had a pop/creak from the upper mount bearing gone bad at the top of strut/pressure plate. $25- part, & easy to diagnose.

Got my FX back today and all seems to be well again. It was more Driver Error that caused the axle to break in the first place.
Long Story.. But now I don't expect in the forceable future to have any more problems with my FX.. (Knock on Wood)
Still my experience with my baby has been a Love Hate Relationship. I plan to trade it in by the end of the year and put myself in an M45.
Still have the MOD bug though... =o)

Swap my VK45 for a VK56 would be great...
an FX56 might be in my future if I do decide to keep it...

the new M is wicked! my dad has an M35x and its really a great car. the front end is pretty nice (not the best looking front though), but i really love the rear especially with the big LED circle lights..the interior is tip top especially with the wood trim and it has a lot of neat options (bose speakers on the sides of the head rest)
the revised model for next year looks a lot more agressive and the tail lights are a bit smaller. the S version looks really good.

Revised version.. Hmm... I just started to look into the Car.. I guess I need to do some more research..
Well you already have a VK54, why not upgrade .2 more liters to VK56?=)
