Finally, The Wait Is Over!!

Oh btw, forgot to mention, congrats! I stepped up from a Lincoln Continental to the FX... lol... almost the same transition, so I know how you feel. I must admit the Stinkin' Lincoln was more comfy though.

I just noticed...Stinkin' Lincoln... I've never heard that one.

Great Addition to the family. I bet your wife did not want to get out of the car to take a pic next to the car. She looks cold....

My G/F is the same...

I am happy that you were able to upgrade... Enjoy the new ride...

In front of my buisness (not a shameless plug!)

My first mod. I've heard mixed things about grouding kits, but for $50 worth of materials I figured what the hell...plus it was fun to put together. And easy with the printouts off of this site. Custom Grounding Kit - InfinitiScene.com

Nice job in making the kit. But did you only do a 6 wire or was there more? Did you tie one into the ecu and/or transmission?

Thanks guys! I only did a 6 wire kit for now because I was not completely sure about the tranny wire? Or the ECU. I want to eventually get to it though.

I'm not sure if it's just my imagination but it seems like ideling is smoother. But I'm really not sure since I havent had the car/truck (what do we call it) for that long. If anything I think it looks pretty cool.

its mostly for just looks...some people feel a smoother idle or better shifts, i think my bass hits a little bit harder now:rofl: but mostly for looks, i doubt you gain much performance wise.

I also heard that if there were any electrical surges it might help to prevent damage.

But ya... lol.

Got a K&N in yesterday. Too excited to remember to grab photos during but here are the filters.

It really was time.

You can see how thick the paper is.

Right off the bat, I noticed that it seemed like the engine wasnt working as hard to get the same power. Well worth the $50.

looks really nice keemo! the k&n looks so much more superior in quality to the old filter in there. that reminds me i need to clean my pop-charger.

Look what the FX brought home!

Not installed yet, but sitting in the office like a piece of art.

I couldnt wait to get it out of the FX so I just ripped into it in the trunk.
Thanks again Chedman!

AWD Y-Pipe Fits!!!

I attempted to install the AWD Y-Pipe from Chedman and Kakumei.

It bolted up like a glove! I love the sound of it. A bit louder but a nice growl and no raspyness. It does feel smoother and quicker.

So it's confirmed that it works with a 2007 FX35 AWD.
I'll post more pix tonight of the install (PICKS NOW ON PAGE 3)...for now, back to work..
