Finally got some shoes!!!

Are you sure those are chrome lips and not high polish? High polish will tend to do that but not chrome unless it was a very bad chroming job.

I'm not totally sure what it is. This is what the Nad Wheels website says.

"polished stainless-chrome outer lip"

I have a feeling it is high polish and not real chrome. Best bet would be to try and clean the lips with some good high polish cleaner and try to buff that out. Also, you should contact the your seller and ask about this situation if you have not already done so. Good luck.

The lips are a high polish stainless steel. Unfortunately, Ninjoe, I think yours are too far tarnished to get a good shine from a hand polish. You will need to get a polisher/buffer to your rims.

Nice wheels, looks sick. I am dropping mine and I tow my bike, just one bike though. Hope its not an issue, r6 and light/small trailer.

hey jab...nice choice in car and bike. I usually tow with 2 R6's and never had an issue, but only a stock setup. I'm really curious how a lowered FX will do towing, so let me know.

I ride an R6 as well (avitar) so you go tracking too? when's the next TD? let's hit up the tracks!

hey rook...you'll never guess...some haters slashed my tires last weekend... I'm getting new tires this weekend and I'll send you some pics when I get it done.
I can not believe that, that really sucks. Deductible probably not worth it to use comprehensive claim?

Your not looking to lower it are you? Cause the offset looks very aggressive and i think you will have some rubbing issues.

I think I can get away with it, as long as I trim the fender a little bit. I didnt lower it right away, because I was concerned about it rubbing.

I've kept my eye on it this whole time, and I'm pretty sure this will work. If not, I don't think I'll have an issue selling some H&R springs

So it is lowered right now. Just keep an eye on it cause you don't want it ripping the tires. It just looks very wide from some of the shots.

I shouldve been more clear. It is not lowered, but I've been keeping an eye on how the rear suspension moves currently over big bumps at various speeds. Although it is hitting the trim, it's very slight and hasn't actually cut into the tire.

Then I think you will definitely have to shave the wheel well once you are lowered cause at that point the tires will hit the sheet metal under the plastic trim and cut into the tires. So if you are going to lower it then have the wheel well shaved at the same time.
