Faster/firmer shifting?

Wouldn't swapping be the better option? Sort of like a core swap program but without the hassles of mailing back and forth. The 35 won't be worth anymore money with a Transgo installed and it's not like these things really wear out.

^Which way? swap the transgo modded valve body from the 35 into 45? or buy a new kit and install into the 45?

The only problem with swapping vb's is that one of the steps involves replacing a spring, and there are two spring options depending on which valve shape you have. I don't know how to tell which you have without pulling the valve.

^ Kudos for Tim. Very good point. I forgot about that step. You have to take the valve out and match it up and then chose the spring to be use with. This makes me just go ahead and buy a new kit. It not like I have not done this before, hahaha.

You could probably do it with one hand and half asleep at this point... ;)

Andy does everything one hand and half asleep... (Fx related for you who are slow to catch up;)

Ha. You can't source anything applicable and forum worthy in your arsenal? :smile (2):

Well Tim, I gave more thought on swapping the vb from my 35 with transgo kit in it into my 45. The valve is not really an issue, but the orifice that got hammer into one of the hole on the tranny's casing will be the problem. So I will buy an new kit for my 45!

Seriously, if you still have not have this mod by the time I come up to Toronto, I will spend sometime with you! No plan on travel up there this year though.

I don't remember what you're talking about. I'll have to look at the instructions again.
