Swapping is easier. He has to buy new trans oil too. I think Andrew is hinting at buying the old Transgo in the future.
^Which way? swap the transgo modded valve body from the 35 into 45? or buy a new kit and install into the 45?
^ Kudos for Tim. Very good point. I forgot about that step. You have to take the valve out and match it up and then chose the spring to be use with. This makes me just go ahead and buy a new kit. It not like I have not done this before, hahaha.
.. (Fx related for you who are slow to catch up![]()
They can still post their pictorials if they cant resist
Ha. You can't source anything applicable and forum worthy in your arsenal? :smile (2):
Well Tim, I gave more thought on swapping the vb from my 35 with transgo kit in it into my 45. The valve is not really an issue, but the orifice that got hammer into one of the hole on the tranny's casing will be the problem. So I will buy an new kit for my 45!The only problem with swapping vb's is that one of the steps involves replacing a spring, and there are two spring options depending on which valve shape you have. I don't know how to tell which you have without pulling the valve.
