FYI - I just got off the phone with HKS rep. They confirmed the mid-pipe does fit the FX45 and that most people do not get it due to the fact it pushes the sound level past the 95 decibel legal limit. That was motivation enough for me to order it=)

I can only imagine what your face looked like when you heard that the decibel reading was over 95..

Thanks guys. I'll try to borrow my friends digital to record it after work today (HKS w/out mid-pipe) and do so again when I install the mid-pipe.
