Last minute going to big willow on Sunday. Rear brakes are on (sorry Zeb. Had to get local cuz last minute rush) hawk 5.0. Hope that fixes slip light. If it does, I'll be late braking and pushing hard. Yay

This run, Capable of more speed, but I wanted to hang with one of my 911 buddys.
I had a huge target on my back for most drivers. Seems like guys dont like the idea of a crossover keeping pace with them, & they were pulling passes in some really shady areas. These are 85-110 mph turns.
Many complements as usual. As usual I was the only FX on track ;)

Also, TC slip light is still getting activated. By my last run, I said Fvck it, & instead of letting it clear on a following straight, I would just get on the throttle right away. While still there & I feel the brake pulse, It does seem to clear quicker that way. Only happens if I brake in the turn.

Here I was running pretty good & taking advantage of the full rev range. Thankfully I have no limiter.
Also found some new shift points. Namely the one downhill after T4. I'm now holding in 2 all the way down & up. Worked out better. FX was screaming at 7K on the way up. It sounded awesome

Feeling all alone in here at IS :/
Not so with the subee club. They took me right in. Really nice mature club. Lotta philipino which is always good. I camped in a sea of blue, black and silver all day. My spot didnt require reverse gear either which takes me a minute to find unless I hold brake and tap gas. Can't be good, but at least it reduces clunk at engagement.

Gas? I usually go through a whole tank. Was chill on Sunday. Everyone filled at end to get home. I just went in to freshen up :)

Oh, and I max on front straight just shy of 120. On back, I enter big sweeper near 110

This same Miata spun something like 3 times on Sunday. So many cars were holding me up. I was shy to make some passes as I didnt know most of these drivers. I wanted to drive home at end of day, so played safe

So your reverse doesn't engage?

Nice videos, I've been watching them, just not commenting. I keep wanting to go to track days around here with either of my cars, but the schedules never seem to work out. Someday...
 
You have to! FX got grip.

Lazy reverse piston, Valve body?
Will go in on cold right away, but once the oil is heated it justs sits. I have to tap gas/hold brake to get it in. 2 or 3 light taps. Once in, it goes fine, so decided it's not worth the possible rebuild just yet. Forward engagement is no delay, & gear change is perfect.
Any ideas?? Already flushed out to new oil to no resolve. Tranny has 39K.
 
Maybe sometime this year. Probably have to raise my car otherwise I'd leave a trail of sparks in rough corners.

Lazy reverse is probably a solenoid going. I would have said fluid level, but that doesn't seem to be the case. It's a separate solenoid on the VB so good thing is that it won't impact anything. You're right to just wait. If it goes, it goes, it won't damage anything. Just hope it doesn't fail somewhere when you need to back out. I had the low speed solenoid fail on my Stillen VB so when I'd coast down to a stop, it would fail before engaging 1st to start again. Just had to swap VB's and problem solved, no damage to transmission. Wish you could just replace the failing solenoid, but they're hard to buy individually.
 
Was watching this again. So weak
at 7:00 minutes, Aft T4 track worker could have raised flag a bit higher, ya think? Didnt even see it. & there's no one at T5 station to warn. I could have crashed out. mad.
So needed. Track has so much elevation & blind corners
