997 would be my choice between the two. I like the 911s refined feel over the Cayman. But I would Skyline GTR over both of them :) I need a MDP3 R34 in my life...

Actually, I would hope you'd like your Cayenne more considering both the additional cost, but just the technology and precision Porsche puts into their designs (especially transmissions). If I had the cash I would get the new Maccan Turbo. So sexy.

But I think we can agree porsche wouldnt have made a performance SUV without the FX paving the way. I mean have you driven an X5 or an ML when they were still on truck frames?? Terrible things.

But Dave, I think heading in that direction is a great way to go.:tup: I rented a new Boxter S in Socal (Toro) and I just remember being amazed by the handling mid corner.

While I'd like to see some significant improvements, something can be said for consistency ;). I did improve about 2 seconds by end of day, but I was still 1 second off my fastest lap at this place.

I totally hold my ground in the big sweeper. Exit speed of 95 is really good. Usually pull away or keep pace with even the quickest of the cars on the track. Made some passes here too. People are amazed as if it's not supposed to be able to do this.

Was in the valley. Took the long way home. This is off mulholland dr. Pretty dark. 7 camera only so good in these conditions
