Bracket style is mostly to see who's more consistent. Cuz theoretically both cars SHOULD get to the finish line at the same time.

I don't think they use either. Time for each car starts when it actually moves. Even if you launch too early you will still get a time. Its just fun to hone in your reaction time for the best launch.

Just bring a pair of long pants just in case they check. Maybe a folding chair. Food there is pretty ordinary so may want to bring cooler with drinks and food. Viet is bringing his canopy so we can relax when we are not running.

Pants - can they be the "Tear Away" basketball type? That why I can wear shorts underneath? I hope its not hot and the fires are out by then
 
Yea, those pants should be fine. I just throw a pair of sweat pants in the car and put it on they say something.

The fires should be out by then too and hopefully the winds will be gone.

Weather says 74 degrees and partly cloudy. Should be great!
