We did this a few times last year with people on the org but most are here now anyways, but Cal Speedway has open drags in Oct and Dec. Theres seems to be more interest for a October drag meet. Anyone can come out and you do NOT have to be modded. Just come out and see what your FX can do and hang out with your friends from the scene.
Date: Saturday, October 27, 2007
Time: 7-9am Registration. But you have to get their early as it is limited to 400 cars and this fills up fast. We usually meet around 6:30am at Denny's in the area and head out there together.
Duration: It lasts until 4-5pm and how many runs you get in all depends on how many cars come out. But alot do leave early so towards the end of the day you can get in more runs.
FYI: No need for helmets for cars over 12 seconds; No shorts allowed (I learned this the hard way
). But you can have long shorts and pull them down ; A lot of time to kill in between runs so bring some a chair and food and drinks(No alcohol!). They do have a snack shop but the food stinks.
