The drive from NY to MD it's like 4 1/2. But I'm stationed in the south part of MD close to VA. So the trip from where me and toni met (waldorf) to Bill's house was 45 minutes to an hour.. With a decen traffic. So I would think that from NY to Bill's house it's like 3 hours and change. I mean I love driving my FX, heck I drive it anytime I get a chance for any excuse. Personally would take the road trip.. I've being in two meets with these guys and is just fun plus you get things done on the FXs. Can't beat it, make some friends,have some fun and get things done on your FX..

I've seen a good number of members post from NY, NJ, MA, PA, DE. So they are out there, might even have a regional group for your area. I would check forum, then look under RISC.

I'm def buying that kit. It is do helpful on removing panels plus you don't get them scratched up since they are made of plastic!
 
Ok guys, my next mod will be Spacers and Braces install. I should have my black lugs/locks in by then. I won't be able to do anything until after the first week of February. I have a 2 week course I need to take. Thanks

A lot of the members don't have their signatures with every mod listed anyway, probably for a number of reasons, which is cool..lol, but throw up an avatar...something...lol...j/k.
 
I think Bill aka Mr.toolman should have more. Now that I think of it, he have Picts of the mod I did on my FX.. He should post those too!!!

Glad you made it back safely, can't wait to see the "Liquid Plantinum". I probably will not be available for about 3 weeks. BTW...did you pick up you lights at a good price? Im looking to do the same thing.

I got my clear taillights (complete set of 2 inner reverse lights and 2 outer taillights) off eBay, probably 6 or 7 months ago. I paid $140, with $10 shipping. Not sure if the lights were new, used and pulled off a totaled car, or pre-recall taillights. All I can tell is they are in perfect condition, without a single scratch in original Nissan boxes.

As for the pre- or post-recall taillights situation, I remember reading this thread at the ORG: http://www.infinitifx.org/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=12580. After 16 pages, some say the pre-recall taillights are brighter while others report no difference, and others say they look more smoked. :confused: The difference between the pre- and post-recall taillights did not seem that drastic or horrible to concern me. Will be glad to get rid of these red taillights soon!
