Dash Bubbling

Bubbles on dash anyone ??

Hey guys .. recently i sold my white fx35 rwd. But my brother still have one black fx35 awd with black interior.. So today he asked me to drop him off somewhere using his car, as we were going I noticed that the dash?:confused: ( Where the bose center speaker is located around there ) there is a couple ( like 10 of them ) of bubbles lnot too big on the leather i think it might have been because of the sun, since during work hours his car is parked outside...
So my question is .. did this ever happened to any of you guys ?
Do you guys think is possible for us to take it to the Infiniti dealership and ask them to change it under warranty ??

Well just one more question ... If he didnt get the car at metro infiniti can we still take there ??
 
I dont rememeber if mine was replaced under warranty or was a "good faith" by the dealer.
 
are you still under warranty? if not it may be tougher to get a good faith replacement if you never go to them for other things.

But Metro Duarte Infiniti is awesome, ask for Cheryl.

+1....if youre just gonna show up and have never serviced with the dealer......tough call.
 
As long as you are still under warranty (4 years/ 60,000 miles) you should be able to take it to any Infiniti dealer to have it replaced. Mine was replaced under warranty at a dealer I've never went to and had no questions asked. They even had my headlight/tailight recall done w/o me having to bring it up, but of course with my permission. Definitely take it before your warranty expires. No harm done.
 
My FX 35 has some serious bubbles all over my dashboard !!! My FX 35 is a 2005 black on black and i was told the bubbling only happens to black interior that the glue bubbles up???? so i asked the dealer why only black so if some body can answer that one for me it would be great.....????
 
Hi Psiche, you said you got your dashboard changed i have some serious bubble problems in mine i will take pictures and load them on tomorrow it is worse then the pictures at the top of this page if you know some body that is not expensive to fix it let me know if you dont mind ... And I am located in Westchester NY Thank You
 
I would think the black attracts more heat thereby causing the glue to come prematurely undone. But I don't think this should happen in the first place.

Psiclne got his dash replaced under warranty.
