Installed this Mod when I first got my truck. Took me a few hours to install but went smoothly as long as you have all the right tools and parts. I'm a noob at this mod so I took extra time to prevent anything from breaking.
 
Who sells discounted steering column cover? My local dealership wants $450 for the top and bottom pieces, thats highway robbery.
 
Wow. That's an incredibly thorough write-up. But I noticed near the end it looked like he had disassembled his dash a bit (no center vents, Nav Screen, Nav Control Panel, etc).

Are there instructions anywhere for removing those other pieces?
 
I have a 2017 QX70 and really want to get this done, but unfortunately I am the worst at DIY stuff. Does anyone know if there are any dealerships that would do this install, or if there is someone/place in the NJ/NYC/Philadelphia area that can assist with the install?

And the brackets & wires can be fitted to 2nd.FX / QX70 and EX / QX50
