console light, outer tail light are not on..

The tail light's relay is linked to that fuse so if it goes then all related lights tied to that fuse would not work. I have not had any problem with anything else after the fuse upgrade in 2 years.

Also, I don't know what year or model FX you have but a member here had issues with one of three mini computer modules that controls the electrical components in the FX. Once that was replaced under warranty he's had no further issues with any electrical mods.

i spent about an hour looking all the wiring in behind the radio and all of the electrical tape, insulation, and wires are intact. no cutting or scuffing at all. i'm gonna replace it with a 15 amp and see if that blows too. gotta go put it all back together first though. wish me luck

Did you tap into power on the back of the oem radio? I would disconnect this plug and see if it still blows the 10 before upping it.

nope. i JUST figured it out. turns out that the clock and the hazard light button have the SAME HARNESS. and if you plug the clock one into the hazard light one, you'll bust that fuse all day, as i've been experiencing. form my experience if there are two plugs in the same area of a car, the tend to use different ones to keep people from doing what i did. anywho all looks good, time to button everything up one last time and see what happens. wish me luck again
