i bought a new oil seal for the crank, and also a new belt--$30 total from the stealership :sad:....just so i can have fresh ones when i get the CNR pulley installed.

You won't see a difference at all when it's in drive considering the proportions he shaved off of the weight. You have it in drive and now you have the entire drivetrain connected, it's not going to rev any faster that you can see with the naked eye. If it rev'd faster, that means he's accelerating faster, and dropping in a lightweight crank pulley WILL NOT yield a noticeable difference here.
Now in comparison to the weight of the rotating mass not connected to the rest of the drivetrain up to the wheels, the weight shaved off by using a lightweight crank pulley is now relevant and you should see a slight change in how freely it revs in neutral.

while i was at the dealership today for my brake issue....
i bought a new oil seal and a new belt...but i decided to go buy a goodyear gator belt if my local carshop has it.

who wants to hear about my wonderful day?
i drove 50 minutes to vinny ten racing.
he wouldnt/said that i shouldnt....put the CNr pulley in because is was a "cheap
chinese copy" and stuff. We went on to talk about harmonics and what not, and saying how it probably wasn't even balanced and stuff. And i'm still learning and stuff, so it was actually informational and i learned about the pulley and stuff. anywhoo, after the teek, i couldnt even install it
THEN i tried to install autolumination.com's LED lights for my license plate and reverse........one reverse worked, half of the other didn't...and the plate ones i oredered didnt veen fit! even tho i made sure in the thread that they were the right ones....anyways....Since UR was right near VTR, i drove over praying that they had a stock-size crank pulley in stock...they didnt....so i ordered one for $240:frown:, and it should be in next week.
i have a pretty sweet $80 paperwieght crank pulley now i guess.....
anyways..the pulley install is posponed to whenever my UR pulley comes in, hopefully next week.
this was my wonderful day...

anyways, VInny is an awesoem guy and is really straightforward, and take spride in his work. he wouldnt install some piece of metal tht would tear up my engine, sending me back to him with oil everytwhere...he told me what's up and now i know.
he also said the motordyne spacers dont do anything.....but idk LOL
anyways, Vinny is an awesoem guy, the whole VTR crew is awesome, and i'm looking forward to doing business with them in the future.

Damn, sounds like a really shitty day. i hope i dont make your day worse but if you went on g35driver you could have gotten a UR stock sized pulley with a new belt for $200 shipped, thats the deal.
hopefully next time you go there itll be a lot better.
lol, i told you about the license plate lights...i guess you got ones that were too big to fit. try and get into contact with them maybe they will exchange them for you.
