congrats. you're gonna love the pulley. dont waste your money on the other ones; they cost a lot and they wont help with performance they are just there to look good.

i don't necessarily care about how lit looks under the hood :)
im really looking forward to getting it installed :)

question: do you think i need to get a different set of pulleys for the other pulleys to go with the CNR crank pulley? or does it function fine with the stock ones?

Nope, you just need the one pulley. if the pulley you got is underdriven and not stock sized, you need a smaller belt because the stock one will be too big.

I have the cnr lightweight pulley... Make sure when they install the sleeve on the pulley that if the sleeve sticks out past the pulley...they shave it even and smooth.

also according to the for sale thread it states that it is a stock sized lightweight pulley..so you will not need to purchase any other belts.

oh yeah thanks for reminding me----
and thanks for pointing that out i appreciate it

man that fxlr8 guy gives some good information in that thread.

Also it has been over a year since sleeving-shaving the pulley .. I have no leaks whatsoever.

i read that entire thread before i actually purchased the pulley/sleeve.

apparently if you follow the tips that were given: shave down excess sleeve sticking out.....wiggle on the pulley....check for seal folding.....

then there should be no worries. if there are......

1. i'll be very upset
2. Vinny 10 racing will be fixing it

i hope all goes well and it works without any leaks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wish me luck haha

Good luck then! Is it all worth it though?

i dont know. but i'm a kid, and kids do wild things.

so i'm gonne see if it works, and if not...then stock goes back on :(

crazy idea though---i'm going to the stealership tommorow to have them look at mybrakes....should i see if they will install the pulley?

I wouldnt bother with the dealer. The pulley is a sensitive spot for most dealers, & a possible warranty breaker, cuz if not done right, or part failure, could cause leakage, & if not watched, potentialy cause more problems.
That all said, enjoy the big horsepower from a pulley

Oh by the way . . Go WILD Man!
& while you're at it, take a jump from the roof into your swimming pool. I think that's what kidz do for fun?

Nah...dont waste your time. even if they do it their labour rate charges are a lot higher than everywhere else.

so does that mean you guys dont think i shoudl do it?

i mean only like 4 guys had leakage problems right?

in the case where you think i should not install the CNR pulley.....

which pulley do you reccomend...w/prices?

cuz i mean.....i want the pulley to be installed fo the positives, but the negatives start to outweight the positives :err:

so......i guess
unofficial poll:
install CNR pulley?
yes... or no...
