What's going to happen now is that I could be working with another shop temporarily for black chrome, so at least you guys who have waited for a long time could finally get these black chrome knobs.
The only bad thing is that this shop does great work but also at a much higher cost. I initially expect $10~$15 premium for a set of 4 knobs, but it is much more now. What I'm going to do is to honor the price that I've promised for the 1st batch of orders for black chrome knobs. You guys put up with the constant waiting, and that's not how I expected things to have been. So I'm going to keep my words. Future orders will be charged at their original cost for black chrome, but there are so few knobs left there might not be another batch.
I will make a formal announcement for black chrome orders within a few days, when I finalize the deal with the new chrome shop (it's Sunday now). Thanks guys!

If you are able to find out if it fits the 06-08 FX, i definitely want to purchase a set (doesn't matter if it's 4 in the set)...so please put me in that first batch of order (if it fits)

Sorry for the extended delay in response. I'm going through some hard time with my job, so hasn't been able to make any progress with the knobs here.
The new shop said I can take a look at the knobs either tomorrow (Wednesday) or Thursday morning, so I will let you guys know. Thanks to everyone for your patience and bearing with me.

Hold up, has this been determined already? B/c i didn't see any update. The last I heard he was test fitting them...did the fitting not work?

The knobs on the 2nd gen are shorter than the 1st gen knobs.
