Climate Seat Filters

Hi all,

I finally got around to replacing the climate seat filters in the base of the seat, which was very easy. I was surprised at how dirty they were after just 37k miles (photo attached), so I should really change the seat back filters too.

It's definitely worth popping them out, especially the seat base filters, which were very easy and taking a look as clean filters can only help with airflow.

I purchased the filters off of Ebay for just $24.00 for the pair delivered to the UK and they look just the same as the OEM pair I removed.

The same filter is used in the Infiniti G/M/JX/QX, Range Rover, XJ/XF, 370Z, Maxima, Navigator, Explorer etc.

This is the Ebay search I used:

Seat Filter-Blower 87383-9N00A, 87383-1LD7A, 87383-JN75A, HAK 500140, C2C36093

Hopefully the above might help someone with summer fast approaching.

Nevermind, apparently you push the seat all the way forward and they're located at the very bottom/middle of the seat, and you feel for it, then turn it counter clockwise to remove.. (sound about right?)

That is basically it, but raise the seat as high as it will go as well. I was surprised at how easy it was to turn the retainer.

I need to swap these out one of these days. I heard you can also wash them and r place them

That is what I did mine. I also swapped the one from the passenger seat to the driver side since it was way cleaner. I washed them in hot soapy water then let then air dry.

[QUOTE = "E3A300, post: 1378964, membro: 13081"] Ciao a tutti,

[/ QUOTE]
