Clear tail lights...here they come!

Yes sorry, I meant to clear that up. It is a direct fit. @la_fx35 I should have taken step by step pictures but decided to wait on it since I still have the other side to do. That has yet to come in unbroken... Ill make one if someone doesn't beat me to it.

First I took the seal off under the trunk lid (the part with the brushed aluminum), Next was the spare tire cover, and seat hinge covers? after that you can remove both sides of the spare tire wall. Lastly you just need to separate the side panels from the body, once the trunks floor is up it'll give you enough space to get in and swap the cable.. It helps a lot to have a panel puller(red thing in the photo) and 10mm and 12mm socket as there are quite a few bolts/screws to remove.

Thanks for this, I really appreciate it. I'm tempted to do it right now, but it's dark out and I don't want to lose a screw. Will let you guys know how it goes.

I do like that Limited badge. Looked on the Infiniti site... sadly not available? They list it but no price.

Found a badge. Not sure why they made it a different part number, maybe theres a difference but you can buy the limited badge from the QX80

K0890-1A60B

Yeah those do look the same. I wonder if there is a difference?

For the QX70 the number was 908951A50A and then superseded to K0895-1A50A. Checking both those numbers come up with $0 for price (I'm assuming not available)

Thanks!

Mine's all done and looks awesome. Cleaned the car yesterday and will take some photos of it today. FYI @JayCSmoov, I'm not sure if you've replaced the left one yet, but it is significantly easier. The right one is plugged in far down and into the space between the fender and the interior panels of the trunk (as you already know), but the left one is plugged in above the taillight up higher (closer to the rear left window than the fender). Pretty strange, but that's how mine was.

That light hasn't come in yet but thanks for the heads up, hopefully mine is the same way so I dont have to go through the whole process again.

The easiest is the high(third) brake light. The two on trunk door are pretty easy too but the panel can be a pain to put back on. The two on the fender would be the easiest if you have the 2015 or 2016. On those I believe you dont have to pull the panels off to swap the cables for the bulbs to plug in correctly. That is definitely a pain. To check its best to unplug your turn signal and see if it has 3 or 4 tabs that lock it in place. The clears have 4.

So are these tail lights easy to install or a pain in th ass?

I thought it was going to be easy. Took me a few hours since I had never taken the trunk apart before and I was going into it somewhat blind. The two fender ones are definitely a pain in the ass. You have to remove the stainless steel scratch guard panel right inside the trunk, then the subwoofer, then the spare tire, then the left and right halves of the spare tire walls, and then you can finally pull the side panels open to unplug the lights. It's doable, but it's more work than it should be just to unplug the light.

Me to what are the exact parts for the tail lights and are they available in Canada if they are what is the parts numbers
