Calling on Bay Area / North Cal FX's want to...Meet up somewhere?

Is this thread still dead?

Its crazy how many FX's are driving around NorCal and how few are on the forum.

I guess its because most of them are 40+ year old moms driving them :eek.:
 
I'm just getting back to the Bay Area and settled in after training for a new job. There are tuns of FX's in the Bay Area.
Sadly from my past experience, meets were far and few in between prior to me leaving the area for Turkey. Hell it's hard to get FX drivers here to even speak or acknowledge you as you pass them by. With that said if anyone is interested in setting up a meet let me know, I'm willing as long as I have advance notice.

I'm down for a meet up.

I wish NorCal FX's where like the NorCal TDIClub.com meetups. I also have a Jetta TDI (diesel) and they do about two meetups a year where two or three "guru's" travel in from SoCal and Oregon and they have a 3-4 day long massive maintenance/service/upgrade/etc social meetup. So you can have any kind of work needed done by experts at amazingly realistic rates and hang with enthusiasts. Last one i went to had about 35 people there at any given time and wrenching going around teh clock. Everything from new cams, Auto-Manual conversions, to new mapping and tuning.

It was super fun. Its a shame we cant get something big like that going up here.
 
That would be great if we could get together. Make a meet day at the Golden Gate Bridge snap a few pics, and get a tune would be great. I guess we will just have to pick a date and see who shows up.
