Bubbling Dash Warranty Extension (96 months / Unlimited miles)

Got a call from the dealer today and the new dash arrived. FX goes in on Friday for replacement. Will update as soon as its done.

Same here, my dash came in last night. But im not able to drop off until next wednesday.

called up infiniti getting my dash installed tomorow but they told me its only a two year warranty till december 2012

That would be correct if your car is an 04' the warranty is from new not from now on.

Taking my car to Cheryl tomorrow.. I dont have any bubbles in the dash, BUT, theres a nice TEAR from what looks like due to sunlight...

I just called the local dealership. I have been told the warranty extension only applies to US vehicle not in Canada.

And I asked them how much is what they will charge to fix the dashboard creaking. "It's about $2000. We will have to replace the entire dashboard".

Sigh....

that's total BS, so this is a issue in US but in Canada we go F^%@&&* ourselves!!!

yeah man, even though all the FXs are assembled in Japan. The Canadian owners are lower in priority. But out of most of the Japanese car manufacture Nissan / Infiniti has the worst customer services that I have experienced.

I'm wondering if there's a way to get official answer from Infiniti Canada or NA why is this an issue in US but Not in Canada.

Just got my car back from the dealer, the new dash smells good it does have a different look (color), might just be because there is no armor all on it.

Trying to get all my center console stuff back in.


If you look by the cassette door (<--I know), you can see the difference in color.


Pretty happy with the new dash but miss the power and lightness of the loaner.

I turned my FX in yesterday and had to go out of town. But I'll have a new dash in when I get back. Plus the dealer was a lil happy they had more time to work with it, since I have the painted console and I have so much after market wiring underneath like additional relays, for my audio and alarm stuff etc... Bottom line is dash is getting replaced. Yeaaaah baby! Yeah!

Really wanna know what the official 'stated' extension is. I have no bubbling yet, but it'll likely happen at some point.

My dealership said it was 8yrs unlimited milage. I know I'm over the 80k.

After seeing this post, I looked closer at my dash. No bubbling, but starting to crack in the ridge, and i saw 2 small cracks on the passenger side. :frown: I doubt cracks are covered.
