Bubbling Dash Warranty Extension (96 months / Unlimited miles)

60K km or 4 years. I went all they way to provincial Nissan service rep. He didn't even look at the car and told me over the phone to take them to court (what the arrogance).

But I guess that's the way to award loyal consumers - my 5th nissan/infinti + have talk 2 members of my family to get nissan.
 
You should record that phone conversation and send to the Infiniti NIssan Canada headquarter and complaint about their service attitude and also cc'd globalnews on the email. That's what I have told by someone who got into the similar situation with other manufacture dealership.

When spoke with the Infiniti Customer Service Rep, they said that it would affect cars in North America (US, Canada, Etc..) and they even said that it would effect cars in Guam, were i bought mine at. I'm sure if u call them they can call the service people at ur local dealership.

When i went to the dealer to ask them about the dash issue they blew me off, called the customer service people and they called the dealership for me and took care of the "miss-communication" issue.

I will. but it feels like each trip to dealership is like a game. they trying to get all $ without giving you any service and you trying to get minimum service.
 
Called the dealer today, told me that they had heard it, but still couldn't do anything! WEIRDD!!
They told me to bring it for other recalls regarding front and back lights to be changed completely and the radiator fan.

yeah i had the same thing happen yesterday with the dealer. Spent 6 hours there getting my recall work done for my fuel hose (3 hour jobs, as told to me by the service rep). They try to sell me on wipers and a whole bunch of other stuff that i was aware of already. they then realize my GT Spec bar is in the way and tell me they need to remove it and if i would like a aglinement done once they put everything back together. i tell them to just do the work that i came in for. after spending 3 extra hours waiting for a "car wash" they wanted to charge me labor to remove the bars.

As long as u pay for something they are ur friends, if not ur SOL and they will try and get it some other way.

Creaking? or cracking? I think it all depends on how this warranty letter is worded and when it gets issued in Canada.
 
Creaking. I think the dashboard liner is bad and it creaks really bad when i am driving steady speed on uneven road. Lots of the creaking noises come from the dashboard area.

Can sombody post the letter that applys to the dash, I had the Infiniti rep in today and he said if I could get him a copy of the bulletin he would look into it for me ...Maybe all of Canada too

I don't think the extended warranty will apply unfortunately. I'm sure it is going to be limited to the finish of the dash surface.

Creaking or squeeking right along the dash/window line is fairly common in other infiniti's. You could try pushing a little piece of felt between them.
 
Still waiting on my car to be finished, it has been at the dealer since 7:30 am. First time I personally have ever heard of paying $15 a day for a loaner.
 
Spoke with my Dealership and they will be refunding me the labor on the new dash installed this winter.:tup:

I did get a fan mortor notice but to think of it I never heard my fan run are they quiet.
 
Got a call from the dealer today and the new dash arrived. FX goes in on Friday for replacement. Will update as soon as its done.
 
Just called the dealer and the car won't be ready till tomorrow, oh'well at least I still get to play with the g37. :cool:
 
if anyone here has good relationship with the local infiniti rep. Can you guys ask for the copy of that bulletin/warranty extension. I wish to have something to show to my local guy to see if can say anything else that "I never heard of it" :mad::mad:
