So apparently I did a less than perfect job in securing the passenger's side wheel well molding when I installed my fog lights a few months ago. When I was driving in the freeway, all of a sudden, the front of the wheel well molding flew up and hit the door. I had not secured the bolt on the underside! Whoops! :eek.:
So now the tabs that secure the trim piece to the body are all broken. I should get a new molding but it's $81 at infinitipartsusa.com! I know I screwed up, but I refuse to pay $81 for a piece of plastic.
I've secured the bolt on the front but now the arched part is wobbly. I want to get some slow setting super glue and glue the trim to the ripped off pegs. But I was wondering what adhesive Infiniti uses to secure the plastic trim pieces to the body. Does anyone have any idea what that could be?
