Blox Intake Manifold Spacer

Its not a major difference thats part of the reason i got the Kinetix upper plenum bc atleast it makes the engine bay look better. A spacer in general works much better after a tune like any breather mod!

Any other long usage updates on this product?

I'm curious to know as well - looking at the motordyne dynos - seems like a lot to pay for 2-4 HP in the RPM range where I do most of my driving. Also, do these come with gaskets, or do you seal with silicone?

Had the motordyne 5/16 for a long time now. Along with a CAI, I loved the improvement. Definitely can feel the difference, and the sound/tone is also changed in a good way. I would absolutely recommend this to anybody looking for performance improvements.

I've always thought this was one of the best bang for the buck mods. The HP numbers increase a little, and so does MPGs, meaning this thing will pay for itself over time.

The Motordyne spacer comes with pre-mounted gaskets on either side of the spacer so there is nothing needed for sealing. All you do is open up the plenum, drop in the plenum spacer and the center bolt spacers, then torque everything back down. You also want to reset your ECU after installation (a good idea ANY time you modify intake or exhaust).

I think it's also worth noting...

If you review motoredyne's plenum spacer dyno charts, one big thing to take away is that no matter what spacer they tried, EVERY ONE made more power. This looks like an easy place to add a few horses.

Anyone know whether the BLOX comes with gaskets? I know for sure it comes with hardware...

I have had the blox spacer for years. Still love it. No problems ever. But it's just a plastic piece. Not sure what problems you would anticipate

Does it make any difference though? All it does is add that little extra space for the manifold?
I guess its just less wear on the intake as opposed to having it connected directly..

I've had my Blox spacer for a little over a year now and honestly couldn't feel much of a difference. I did the CAI and spacer at the same time and there seems to be a little more pull at the top of the powerband but nothing mind bending at all. Didn't do a thing for my MPG either but the sound as you hit the shift point at WOT is fabulous. That right there made it an acceptable mod for me LOL!
