Black Out My Tail Lights

One question. When you get the tail lights painted, do they paint the outside or the inside of the tail light covers? My reason for asking, is because I'm concerned that if it's painted from the inside, there will potentially be condensation on the inside of the tail light. PLEASE TELL ME THEY ARE PAINTED ON THE OUTSIDE!!

Hey guys,

Just tinted my tail lights, and they look AWESOME!!! One quick question though, the guys where I got it done didn't want to take a risk at removing the reflectors at the bottom in order to have them tinted. Would any of you know how to pop them out. This way I can pop them out myself, and drop them off at the shop.

Thanks!!!

I have to agree. The "smoked" look gives it a much meaner look from the back.

I guess none of you know how to remove the reflectors in the back?

I guess none of you know how to remove the reflectors in the back?

It's very easy. Crawl under the back of your fx. Look inside the bumper where your reflectors are. Theirs one small Philips head screw on each tab on the reflector. Just loosen each one a few turns or all the way and they will be able to come out the back end of the car. Be careful not to drop them, just hold the reflector while you loosen the screw. Hope this helps. If you have any questions pm me and ill send pics of how to diy.
