Black 'n Chrome :: 2003 Infiniti FX35 AWD

are the 285s square on the 10.5s the best fitting tires i can find for my 10.5s are 295s, I really dont want tire buldge.

25mm front and 20mm rear should be perfect with 10" ET40 wheels. Your setup should look sweet with the cut springs. Make sure you roll the rear fender lip before it cut up your new tires. :wink (2):

The Nitto 420S 285x40 that I have on looks pretty square to me. It could be the illusion created by the so call "wheel protector ring". I think 295 will have a better looking side profile.

Or go 305s? I'm going 305/35/22 for my next set of tires. They were my original choice but Pirelli had them on backorder.

u can call me Mike, yea, i've considered it and i know im an idiot but for the cost of coils i can get the springs, struts, front rotors and pads all around that i'm in dire need of and plan on doing all the work together in a weekend... i know this is prob a dumb idea and going to regret and get coils in the future, but u know lol.. not made of money and trying to find the least expensive solution for the moment being

305/35r22 is going to sit with a bulge on a 10.5in wide wheel.. not really liking that.. i think 285/35r22 is best fit i think for 10.5 and even a 10in wide... thats going to be my tire size of choice and plus theres alot more availability and options.. i wholesale tires so i kinda have an idea of what im talking about lol..

man... Your fx has so so much mods. Inspiring stuff and packed up!

btw: would you happened to have pics of the expose rear trunk and rear seats? Looking sound deadening spots before I start ripping out the internal panels. I found some of Aero's suede headliner project, but wasn't directly showing the trunk/rear seating areas.

Here a couple of pic of my dynamatted rear seat and trunk. I didn't take any before pics.

Wow, I forgot how much you Dynamatted in the rear hatch. As a much work as it is, I think doing the roof will be worth it, especially when it's raining.

Thanks Andy, those will be great for my reference points. I should have ~10 sq ft of B-Quiet left for the rear seats and trunk, will try to apply them wisely.

Just looked at your Dynamat images again Andy. Wishing I had removed the well covers completely. I got pretty far up inside there but not complete coverage like yours, makes a huge difference in road noise.

great ride man! Love your mods that are subtle yet striking and gives more accents to the car. I wish you were close by for me to see the car in person or better yet help me with some mods :tongue (2):
