BC Coilovers Info & Unboxing (03-08 FX35/FX45)

I am past due for new shocks and struts and was about to pull the trigger on KYB's all around and a set of H&R's...but now,I am completely rethinking that plan. $1K is pretty good with all of the adjust-ability I can get. In theory, should these last longer, shorter, or about the same as the shock/strut/spring replacement I had planned?
 
How do you think these would hold up to snow and salt if they were on all year round in areas that get these types of conditions ???
 
Looking Good wish I had waited on my H&r's. Wait a minute I don't see any :iS:decals?:shy:

KYB's for me lasted me ~100k miles. H&R have lasted just as long and will probably last the life of the car.

That being said, I'm not sure if BC will last that long. That shouldn't be an issue at all though, because:
"

  • 1 year warranty
  • $95 after the 1 year and you get a replacement! no waiting 1 month and paying $250 from those other brands!!"
That's a great warranty.
 
Couple more pics, still did not lower the rears and I might want to raise the front a little.

I either need to remove or trim my front mudflaps, they scrape the smallest speed bumps.

Also, I am getting a squeaky sound on the right front whenever I turn the steering wheel left to right. Not sure if it is ok for the drive axle to be angled like this?

Overall, they are great coilovers, I adjusted the dampening to 14 clicks from hard on the fronts and 11 clicks from hard on the rear and they definitely feel smoother at this height than my eibach's.
 
It is pretty low, I have been scraping dips I have never scraped before. I am probably going to raise the fronts .25" and drop the rear .50"
 
^ is that with the .25 raise in front and .5 drop rear?


nonetheless.. so hot... too freaking nice.
