BBK GB feeler thread

So far there are three buyers for the JBT BBK. if anyone has interest or knows of a fellow FX'r looking to purchase a top quality BBK with 15" rotors front and rear at an excellent price please PM me.

Stop teasing me, you know I want a set, but what am I going to do with 8 total calipers and only 1 car??? =)

These JBT kit is such a sweet deal. You don't wanna miss this dea, do ya? You know Lance work hard at this deal ...imagine 15" rotors (drilled optional), 6 POT front, 4POT rear. Just joking with ya :wink:

I'd buy in a heart beat. My AP Racing is 14.25" front, 15" rear, so smaller rotors in the front has always erked me. I even asked Stillen if they could make the 15" AP rotor would fit the caliper, but they wouldn't try -- even asked if i could take the 15" ap kit for the qx56 and use the brackets of the fx45, but no go too since they haven't tested it they wont' sell it.

I also paid double if not more... :frown:

but, even at the price, i'll still leave the ap racing bbk as the best mod i've done bar none. aesthetics and actual use (you can definitely feel the difference and gain 1,000% confidence in braking).
 
Hey Lance, are we ready to move ahead with this GB? Anyone else? This is too sweet of a deal to pass up.

Agreed, the deal is too good plus my brakes are getting close to needing work anyway so the timing is perfect for my ride - Following up with our contact now. One of the BBK buyer's backed out as he sold his FX and bought a Jeep Cherokee SRT8.....Traitor!:wink:
 
Putting this together now last question is caliper color. Greddy gold or red....? Prefer Brembo gold but its an anodized finish and seems like there is a disconnect with paint matching. Anyone have an extra gold Brembo caliper laying around I can borrow to color match off? =)
 
Order for the JBT BBK is going in tomorrow, anyone else? =)

The set-up of choice:
• 15" rotors front and rear
• 6 Pot calipers front, 4 pot calipers rear
• Calipers in red (discussing decal color options now, red comes standard with white JBT lettering)
• Rotors cross drilled and slotted
 
Lance, if you need more orders you can always get me an order for Christmas. I'd like black calipers and slotted rotors only. :tongue (2):
 
Lance, thanks for putting the deal together. It's gonna be a NICE Xmas present for myself. Hmm, should I wrap them up and put in under the Xmas tree or put them on right away to welcome them with a Chicago winter.

They.....have.....arrived. la_fx35's are set to be delivered on Monday! I am hoping to install on Tuesday.
 
Damn I want to tear them open but they are frigging heavy......I think the boxes will collapse if I cut em'. Ehhh screw it, I'll open em up tonight (at the office now)
