Badgeless Grill

bringing old topic back up. I'm looking for a different grill for mine. Don't like the big badge in the middle. Are all of them the same or is the 06+ different? I have an 04 FWIW.

I like the mesh. Never seen one in person though.

03-05 are different from 06-08. And now the 09 are way out there.

I saw this mesh grille on a FX.http://www.burtmanindustries.com/zoomprod.php?id=fx_mesh_03_05 The trim was matched with the body color and the mesh was painted black. Looked very similar to the Prodrive. I actually thought it was at first glance.

This is the same SS grill but was custom black chromed and added the badge. But I am tiring of this and in search of something else currently.

Man i wish i joined this forum about 3 weeks ago.....

I got into a crash and half my grill was still good. I could have given it to one of you guys to make yourselves a grill.

I've been thinking of making a mold or my center section without the emblem so it can be reproduced. Just not sure if it's worthwhile. Keep in mind it can not go back to the original chrome or black chrome finish. There are some chrome and black chrome finishes out there though. Between House of Kolor and Alsa they have some cool stuff.

I think alot of peeps would still want it. If you do it, Let us know what the costs are gonna be. IMO, Randy's creation is still the best looking grill out there.

The molds would be simple, the sanding and blending is the tedious part really.

I think this hyper black is the finish most would be happiest with, well a side from chrome or glossy black. http://www.innate.com/Paint/Chrome/HyperBlack.htm
