You should be able to make it click. Try to wiggle it in more very carefully.

it was sticking out like 2mm! haha i'll try again tommorow...........................hopefully they fit. :embarrassed:
the guy at vTR tried to put them in after i failed at it and he even said they dont fit....so IDK. ill try again.

Do you think it's because you are an '05 and I'm an '07???

Ashley has the same ones, what year is she?

*EDIT* She's an '04 so I doubt that's it.

o0o maybe that is the reason?
whyw ould they have different sized license plate lights....to lose wieght? haha

so0o yeah.
it turns out my reverse light that wasnt half-working decided to work....:err:
and for the plate lights...

they fit, but you can only clip down one side of the little unit. but i thought it was oaky, since the insultation for waterproofign and stuff was after that anyways, so i jsut left it half-clipped in(but still hardly moves. i figured the worst that could happenw as that the light thingy unclipped and went into the trunk area:err:.

was this a dumb decision? haha

but they look great!!!!!!!!!!! except i was expecting white-white...not blueish-white....so now my headlights, which are white-white, sont necessarily match my plate lights...which i guess is okay

but yeah, the lights look great!!! highly recomended!!!!

those led's are awesome. any feedback on white interior led's? im curious if the brightness is just right and not too much.

ive got full led in my interior... at first it seemed to be very dim as i was used to a lifetime of standard bulbs... after 2days and lot of switching back and forth i know that they are the same brightness and much easier on the eye than 'yellow' bulbs... my roommate has since made the led switch and hes not into cars at all...

edit... i went with the 12 led festoon... its got 6leds on top/ 6 on bottom

I followed this post and purchased some LEDs from www.autolumination.com..
the LED's fit perfectly in the little housing for me.. but they refuse to light up. I contacted the company and they said it might be inserted backwards, tried that.. and they said " you may need a load equalizer on them to make the car read the low amp draw."

How do I do that? :err:

anyone have any ideas on what the problem is?

hey guy i just got my 05fx and wanted to change the bulbs in my headlight to leds and need your help. do i need load eqs for the flasher and parking lamps? or are they plug and play? what would you recommend as far that config. of bulbs for an all clean white hdlight set up? just want to hear from the pros since im in hawaii and want to get it straight before i order the goods. its a pain in the azzz to get things resent thats why.

man, you guys got some trick ride toooo!

big alohas you guys!

Your gonna have to add a resistor if your gonna change the turn signal bulbs to LED. That is what I have for mine. No resistors for parking and no resistors for side markers since they don't flash.

If you don't install the resistors, than it's gonna flash as if you have a burn out bulb and do the quick flash.

Work great so far, but had to adjust the little metal rods on the bulb itself. The rods bend so if you're not gettin a connection you may have to adjust them by moving them around a bit to make sure that there is a connection with the metal in the socket...
