Any Bike Riders Out There?

Just got back from picking this up. 2013 Pivot Firebird, X9 setup with the upgraded fork. Ordered blue, so they sent it with red decals, but extra decals in the box...

Two mountain, one road. Road bike I keep in Texas though. I can see how people end up buying a bunch of different bikes since there's always a better bike for a certain type of trail. Hopefully this one will be good enough for climbing that I have no reason for another. :bulgy-eyes:

Finally got a ride in. Stood it up next to the Glory to figure out how I wanted everything situated. A couple minor changes later, it felt much better. Best feeling was slaloming back and forth down a grass hill. Pretty fun to jump also, or at least as much as I "jump". :rotfl:

I need to put the blue decals on soon, just not a fan of that red.

That's a sweet bike. Is it all-mountain, or more of a trail bike? It looks like it has a little more travel up front than my Fuel EX, but the suspension is all Fox like yours.
Congrats on the new ride! Wish I had nice sunny weather too, but its pretty wet and cold in Seattle.

All mountain for sure. I wanted something to ride on the usual trails I ride the Glory on but still be able to climb back up instead of push.

I think it's 167mm rear travel and 170mm front. I was actually looking at a Trek Slash, which is similar to this, but it wasn't quite what I wanted spec wise. I wish I would have demo'ed one though because it would have been nice to know for sure.

Haha that's all the spam mail I get. I never throw it away downstairs because I'm worried there might be something important. Then I just never put it in recycling.

I was packing up to leave and was going to bed not long after so I didn't make the bed. I think I was laying in bed when I saw it had arrived at the shop so I left rather quickly and threw the sheets off.

Anybody into CX? Just finished this build and looking forward to trying cross racing this fall. 2012 Blue Norcross EX. Full carbon fiber frame with SRAM Apex and Avid Shorty Ultimates and Stan's Alpha 400/Hope Pro III wheelset.
