there is no question that the problem is a metalurgical problem with the spring steel itself that eibach is forming these out of, do you know how many things under your car are not coated & have surface rust? many. if a control arm or suspension link just decided to break after less than 3 years of being exposed to the elements then that would be extremely rediculous & not even fit to be considered a car... eibach has a big problem here with these, surface rust is NOT an excuse, many older cars the springs are not even coated, they form a complete suface rust finish right away, but still serve a long useful life. a spring snapping is not a normal occurance, & for multiples within a short period of just a few years, there is a real problem with these springs...
