Annual Midwest Spring/Fall Area Meet in Chicago

wassup guys great takes on the meet im new to the forum and wish i saw this earlier will have to make next one, but does anyone in chicago area know how to remove roof rails i can get the the rail off and the 2 front bolt holders off but the rear looks to be blocked by double sided roofing people told me just to cut it and place the cover on i have the covers but not to comfortable of cutting them, any ideas?

Awe, you should frequent here more often.

You heard them right. There are no easy way to remove the rear bracket without cutting the bolts off that I'm aware of. There are threads on here about going railless. From I gathered from those thread, they simply cut off the bolts and buy the cover plates for the mounting holes. The front mounting bracket can be easily taken out by pulling down the headliner enough to get to the nuts. The rear bracket is a pain and much more involved so others just cut them off.

Yea i was just seeing another option besides cutting it i dont like the idea of cutting it haha but i guess im going to have to, recommend any kind of cutter?

Hilarious. The morning meet looked like we were Asian tourists that just came off a tour bus taking pictures of cars. Jonas was our tour guide.

Ha, nice guys. I couldn't read this page the whole time at work. The internet filters picked up slutty and blocked this page. I really want the Transgo, no doubt. Then pulleys. Then Nismo exhaust. Then moar GT Spec.... It never ends! I think the last mod I will do is get the Euro tails done, promise! :bomb: I'm going to slow down on the modding for just a bit and concentrate on photography and editing cool pics for my photo thread.
