Annual Midwest Spring/Fall Area Meet in Chicago

Updated thread title from "Spring 2011 Chicago Area Meet" to "Annual Spring Chicago Area Meet"

2011: Sunday, May 22.

What about these dates for 2012:
Sunday, May 20 and rain delay: Sunday, June 10?

I have a wedding in Chicago on Saturday, May 19, so I would be able to make May 20. Funny how it just so happens exactly one year later I'll be in Chicago.
Kim is having her baby shower tentatively on Saturday, June 9, so I would be able to make June 10. She should know for sure within the week.
 
Glad you brought this up Jonas. Andrew and I talked about another install meet for my Kido BBK coming up. And of course we will plan everything on your schedule. :captain:
 
NATO Summit starts Sunday, May 20th. So it would have to be in the suburbs most likely.

Unless Ian can get us a cool pic with the pres and security detail.

Those dates look open to me though.

Oh, believe me I can get us all a pic with the POTUS and his detail... it's just the follow up pics will have us sporting nice orange jump suits..

Still waiting on the order, but definitely by the end of the month I will order it. DHL should take less than a week to deliver too.

Jonas, you're looking to do a meet and greet then eat and take pics correct? I was planning on a separate install meet like when we grilled during the coilover install meet. Either way, I will need to do an install meet coming up soon, haha. :smile (2):

I think we are looking to do something big, similar to last year's spring meet. Ian's been talking about it nonstop so I figured it's time to revive the thread! hehe. I suspect that this would be the event that everyone would try to come out to. Last time I think we ended at 2pm since we started 8am sharp, but that doesn't mean we can't end it with an install at Andy's or something since there would be less people at that point, just not sure how many people would be on the list, locations, etc.

Sundays are somewhat bad for me, unless u guys do it early, I'll need to head back to the city at 2pm.

Wide open all Saturdays.

Usually its an early 8-9 am meet and greet and then get some grub afterwards. Those that need to take off do so around 1 or 2pm. Those that stay can meet the ones that show up later and can do some mods as well. Oh, the guys that stay all day are way cooler :thumbup:
