Air intake for 1st gen fx35 CHEAP

Jordan did u do anything with your intake?

Just changed the filters....intake do barely anything but suck in hot air unless you utilize the factory air ducts

Notch #1 on JB's scale of effectiveness is 50 HP. Intakes are beneath him. :p

THe first one, with everything......ztube stillen intake....utilizes the factory air duct...

intakes in general do not give you much power even with a tune...but something close to factory is best.....don't bother with the intakes that suck in hot air from the engine bay,,,

Jordan-

What about the cold air intakes?

So you just switched it to a k&n filter? Where did you purchase the filter and did you notice any difference?

The one other difference you get with intake though is the sound. The car sound is dramatically improved and hear the roar of the engine...have you tried an intake before? Do you not like that sound?

This $40 "intake" was my first ever mod lol all it did was make the engine loud when u stepped on the gas all the way other than that I do believe my gas mileage went to 10.6 which is complete shit so I swapped it out for the fujita which brought it back up to 13.6 :)

If you get a TRUE cold air intake aka it sucks in from somewhere with a duct and doesnt just sit in the engine bay, there may be minimal gains. But the stock setyup already uses ducts from the outside so there really is no point to do the same thing just move where it is...iust takes in outside air directly from the grille, it's already a Cold air intake. I just switched up the intake itself. Didn't notice anything, and I didn't expect to. I just know K&N is a tiny bit better than the factory filter.
