Air intake for 1st gen fx35 CHEAP

what is a good intake for an 08 FX35? I don't seem to find an Injen Intake that fits an 08 FX35. Also i have read that the stillen is overpriced.

check the for sale section. One member is selling a complete Stillen CAI with Z-tube including straight rigid tubes. If you purchase all of what he is selling it could go well over $200+.

I have the Stillen CAI but used my OEM arcodion type flexible tubes. The flexible tubes causes loss of pressure limiting intake to the engine.

Intakes dont do much....best bet it the stillen z-tube with cone filter that utilizes the stock air vent....a little better flow with stock design = best.

Well I bought that intake from Andy. Will be selling my Fujita F5 if you're interested ocal.....

what is the difference between the two? I thought u combine both of them or something.

will it work with an 08 FX35? Everything i seen does not mention an 08 FX35

Yeah, but he said z-tube with cone filter. The second one has a cone filter but that's not the stock air vent

The stock air box has two inlet ducts; One that draws air through the grill and one (the "power duct") that draws air in under the edge of the hood. Both are retained with the Stillen kit. The "z-tube" is an independent part that can be used on its own or with the Stillen stuff. The Stillen CAI kit will be much more effective on its own than the z-tube, but both are good inexpensive mods that DO increase performance. Whether or not it is a worthwhile effort depends on who's writing the check...
