Thanks dude, I have a double din at home and Ive relocate the screen to the top.
I have been hesitant to do anything with the radio myself but you have inspired me I want to get it in my car this weekend:smile (2)::mask:

one more question dot the radio bolt in where the stock screen came out of or did you need to make custom mounts, did anything need to be modified behind the radio to fit ?

Working on the lower screen with john. As far from that, i bought three items.

Axxes Metra ASWC OEM steering wheel control adapter.
Hooked it up and the steering controls now work the pioneer unit.

Video bypass relay. Pretty much a relay to trick the pioneer head unit that your parked meanwhile your not.
You used to be able to ground the wire from the pioneer unit for the video bypass and hit reset and it would work. Pioneer changed this up for the newer units.

Of course a remote. To be lazy lol also to work the DVD menu.

New screen added. It's a mirror when off and on it displays whatever im playing in the dvd player.

2 video inputs.

I have the first input for the dvd.

Second input shows the added rear view CMD camera. Pretty much a video rear view mirror. =]

Hi, did you install Axxes Metra ASWC OEM steering wheel control adapter?
I'm trying to install it for couple days now, no luck. Couldn't locate wires. The instructions on Axxess website are all wrong. Appreciate your help. Thanks

I think I'm going crazy, but I'm only seeing 1/3 of the pictures on just your thread.
 
I installed the Clarion NZ501 where my clock was and works great accept I can not the 16pin steering wheel interface for the AXXESS ASWC a d tech support no help. Help!

It's a second connector on the cable that connects to radio panel(HVAC and radio control unit), it's kind of hidden behind the dash, disconnect the cable from the board and just follow it until you see the 16 pin connector.
