AeroBFA's Autumn Copper FX45 :: 2007 Infiniti FX45

Wow that's low, but great work Andrew! Your fx is getting hotter by the min... Where is this shop that does custom work for you?

I went to Bear Metal Welding on North Ave in Lombard. Really cool guys and can do anything you ask them. My custom four-point strut bar will look awesome when its done.

Excellent work Andrew, you are very fortunate to find a place that can do these modifications for you.

I know this. So lucky not only to have a place to work at, but he's been like a mentor to me. I've learned to do so much stuff in just the past year! :worship:

so what would happen if you were on the highway and clipped something accidentally? I hope the bar would just snap right? I ask because I've ridden as a passenger when one person ran over something big on the highway at night and heard another person do it....heck recently we had also a iS wife clip a fallen exhaust that caused the tank hole.

I don't know, but I think about it. If anything I would probably bend the bar pretty bad, that's about it.

If the FX is a rock'n don't come a knockin! Car looks bad ass Andrew. What settings do you have on the coils? It is a bit bouncy.

I got to drive it and I don't know if bouncy is the word. I FEEL like all the braces he has if you go over any bump of any type the whole car would go up or down. Not necessarily bouncy. It's got such a sporty feel its soooo much different than mine its almost unbelievable.

Yep, as Ian was saying, Andrew slam to the max or lowest (should I say)! the way it is now is the absolute lowest the kiddo can go. Need to slot the sub frame and use the SPC 72265 Camber bolt. The hold up was, the bolt from SPC #72265 Camber kit is not long enough when we mount the GTSPEC brace onto it. The bolt is about an eighth on an inch shy from flush the end of the nut. It does tighten down, but I don't have that warm and fuzzy feeling looking at it. So looking for longer bolt and have it grind down like how Rookie did to accommodate the GTSPEC brace.

Thanks guys, I love the sound and performance, but sometimes I wish it was a little louder. I like loud and rowdy sometimes. :mohawk:

Yes, the coils are on the lowest setting. I think I may raise the rear a quarter inch. Definitely need to get some custom camber bolts made up this week for it to work out.
