Just remove the wheels and the wheel well liner. Allows great access, and is alot easier. I tried to take the bumper off, and couldn't get past getting the grille off.
what if i have long fat armsGood luck with it, it is really that difficult. The hard part is if you want to do this with the bumper off or on. It is easiest and most convenient for optimal placement of the ballasts with the bumper off but you can also do this with the bumper on.
To do this with the bumper on you just have to remove the stock air intake box on the driver's side and the coolant reservoir tank on the passenger side. Then you can reach down from the top to get at the fog light bulbs. Btw, longer arms help when doing it this way, lol. Good luck and if you get stuck just post it up here and someone will offer their assistance.
what if i have long fat armsi dont want to get stuck. i'll probably try and get a friend to help, he's done it on a few cars already.
if i order a kit that says it has a "universal plug-n-play relay harness" then would i be able to leave the fogs in the "on" position without one of the lights randomly not firing up? or is that just a gimmick?
why three sets? 1) head light, 2) fog light, 3) ???
