2006 Infiniti M45

Thanks yosvany & Sideways the Seven

I started walking outside about 2 weeks ago, so far so good. I just can't bend at the waist too much or lift more than 10lbs and I feel real slow, like a 90yr old man :disapointed:


But as slow as I am, looking into working on my M soon. Y-pipe & Uprev coming real soon (work will be done by others as I can't even wash the car yet :crying:)

I'll have pics as work gets done.

I don't think my car will ever make it to a track for some 1/4 ml runs but I'm sure happy she is running on her best.

Well spring/summer weather finally got here, haven't worked on my car much because of vacation and working on other people's M's.

My daughter didn't want me to rent a limo for her prom, she asked me to drive her in my M. :-) (It also saved me a few $$$)

Looking for a nice cool day so that I can wash & wax the M soon, I should have new pics after.
 
wow Freddie, ride looking awesome. Regarding the UPREV tune, where and at what price? I've been on edge about it.

(RWD only)

Price was $600 cash
(for everything untill done no matter how many pulls I needed, most shops will charge extra for extra pulls or extra time)

The dyno used is a Dynotech made by Dyno Dynamics. It's the type of dyno that will give you real numbers, not over inflated numbers that most of the time add 15 to 20% more power.

My M45 has the Megan Racing mid-pipe with axle back exhaust, custom y-pipe and a K&N drop-in filter.

It was a nice day and it was about 65 degrees. Dyno with tune took almost 2hrs. (lots of pulls)

We started with a run that showed 232hp (car was running very lean) to the rear wheels and at the end we got an extra 36hp with 40torq. AFR was at 12.0 / pulls done on 4th gear.

Last run was 268hp to the rear wheels

I also got 5 maps:

Eng kill
tune with 93 gas, full sport
tune with 89 gas, econo
stock
valet mode, only up to 10mph no more

Top end limiter was removed
lower delay (WOT gas pedal) up to 20mph removed (almost none)
timing was advanced
Fans turn on earlier (about 200 degrees)

Please keep in mind that the tune was done as far as it would be safe for the car.

The tune was also done with my 20" wheels & 285/30 tires & a full tank of gas.

The video on youtube shows the car running on 4th gear only, with a speed of 148mph
