1st Gen FX35 Wrapped in Hexis Matte/Satin Blue Metallic Vinyl with 3M Carbon Accents

^^^ Thanks

that looks amazing ! I want to do this to my FX so much ! how much time did it take you , and about how much did it cost for all the material ?

It took me about a week. I used around 30 Yards (60" wide roll), but I messed up couple big pieces. I bought the Hexis HX30000 Matte series, which is pretty expensive(~$950 33ft). Prices starts at $400 for a good quality car vinyl(20ft and up). I'm not including tools and 3M various films, primers, sealers I also used.

great work on it. I know it was tough to do the rear hatch in one piece... watching the guys who did my FX and seeing how much you can stretch this new vinyl is simply amazing.

so much easier way to clean and wash the FX now. you'll love it when it snows it doesn't stick to the FX

Great job man....I bet it feels good to do it all yourself! makes all the difference!

Hope to one day see it in person when I hit up Chicago. Kudos on an awesome looking FX!

I have seriously love for that color. I guess Andy is up next and then maybe a year or two down the line I might have to do something like this. :)

^^^ Thanks guys. I will definitely try to make it to the next Chicago meet. There were some new members on the org interested also, not long time ago!

I think it's a secret, but our guess was chrome.

Man Justin, I told you not to say anything. Now the chrome is out
Seriously though, after seeing the Blue Zebra and seeing his Pioneer head unit. I guess I have found some more mods. Not that I'm out of mod to do

Andy is interested? In what color?
Not sure on color yet. Maybe in Yellow?

You only used 10 yards? (30 feet) I was thinking i would need much more than that. How much did you have left over? How much did you have to trash and redo? What is the best tool for cutting the really long straight lines? (hoods, roof etc?)
Many Thanks. I look forward to wrapping mine soon. Going tomorrow to see about getting the rear reflectors filled in and smooth with the bumper

That is absolutely nuts. Looks amazing. I love the contrast with the black and carbon.
