wow the vinyl tape thing look amazing and has a major bonus of being very easily reversible. How feasible is it to diy this on the waving 09 grills?

wont hurt to try on a 09 maybe just needs a heat gun

btw is not tape. definitely not electrical tape, its the same vinyl used on signs

how did you make the "bumps" stick through the vinyl? is there a trick or do you just have to cut them out after you put the tape on?

I just ordered some Plasti Dip black rubber coating and clear spray for my chrome grille. Will do this next weekend. Excited. :tonguey::tonguey:

I agree , it must be a lot more durable than glossy paint.
