07 lease up... 09 AWD is hard to find

Your deal

I think you have all the fine points covered. 12k per year, and your last payment are moving your monthly slightly higher then mine. Otherwise you are right, it's a very good deal.

The invoice price of the vehicle is critical though. If you are dealing with Glendale, chances are that sales person is not starting at invoice. In fact, I wouldn't go there first, I would call. Tell the sales person over the telephone you are ready to sign the deal but you want the car at invoice. Let him tell you, 'to take a walk'. Once you hear that, you know you have a good deal.

I'll be really curious to see when Infiniti starts up production and shipping again. Clearly, they want to move all existing US inventory before any new cars come on shore.

Not dealing with Glendale. They were horrible.

Msrp was $52,something

Invoice was $48, something

My only reservation is color right now honestly. Not sold on the white.

Thanks!

Here's a cool shot of several new FX's in various colors.

fyi: Call Nicole at Van Nuys Infiniti. She was at Santa Monica for a while and moved last month when SM closed. She is great. No haggle, she offers you Invoice right off the bat. And she'll find you a color you like anywhere in Cali.

Funny you mention her. I bought my last two fx's with her! ha

Just talked to her on the phone.... two choices... Copper and Umbria, she said the white one sold.... although I think it is the dealer holding it from me. Maybe not.

Thanks for the pic. Kinda loving the blue slate.... not pictured.

That's funny, Nicole is great to deal with. Very simple process with her.

Go for the Cooper. Here's a good pic of a FX50 in Mohave C.

btw - In that first picture of cars lined up, the fourth one in is Blue Slate. Look at the roof line ... (from first ... Platinum Graphite, Black, Liquid Plat and Blue Slate.)

You might be right! I thought it was the platinum graphite.... I hate the Copper! haha

There is a Blue Slate at the Port I guess they will be getting in July..... I'm going to wait and see what the programs are tomorrow for the month and see if Nichole or any others can get different options in as well. Hopefully there are some coming.... I have until 7/22 either way.

I ended up waiting and not getting the car yesterday....

Waiting to hear what the new offers are this month, and it looks like I can place a special order for my color, or there is one coming in 7/15 as of now.

I was considering the blue slate as my 2nd option if I couldn't get Blk/Blk. It's a different color I don't see around to often.

I just looked at pics of the white again.... looks nice the more I look at it acutally..... Now I'm stuck thinking that the white would be killer with some dark tints... I love that look.

Just have to keep it clean!

Thoughts? I'm bad with decisions!

I actually like the White w/black interior. It's a clean look. But the wife didn't like the white at all.

White or Blue Slate will be a good choice. I would go with white only because I think it's easier to get the ebony interior.

White ...

hey - The 2009 FX35 in white looks very good. You have to see it in person to get the entire effect. Don't discount it too quickly. Also, I am the same with color choices. I ask everyone and believe me, my friends were sick of hearing about the FX! Everyone wanted me to get Mocha over Liquid Platinum, but it was not available.

My first choice was Slate Blue as well, but in the end I thought this shade of blue looked to similar to a 'blueberry'.

One more point about my deal - My MSRP was about $1,300 less than today's similar equipped FX35. I got lucky and found one of the last remaining first shipped cars. In the second half of the year, the base price of the car went up. Mine has the cargo carrier, etc too.

Interesting on the MSRP.... that makes sense... maybe that deal was better than I was thinking it was after all.

The white does look good in person, especially with black/dark windows all the way around it and the black interior looks great then too.

Wheels need to be kept clean and shiny along with the car for it to look great. Ditto on the friends and family being annoyed... it's really funny actually!

Maybe I should just go get that one! Deal is still good today!

btw - I didn't see your white FX pic until just now. (at work we block a ton of photo sites).

Anyhow, it looks great! Here is one more set of rear shots: From left to right: Mocha, White and Black.

I'm thinking the white might be the way to go.... thanks for the pic.

Anybody know if the White Paint quality fades quickly on the FX's... that is my only real concern.

You know how the paint gets 'flat' really quickly.... like after 12 months on most cars.... I presume this paint is higher quality yes?

thanks! That's my final question!

I don't know the answer to that question, but the 2009 paint is the scratch shield version which 'heals' scratches in sunlight.

I would be shocked if this paint loses its luster from the sun ....

2009 lease deals

Gameboy: I happened to speak with Nicole dela Cruz yesterday, she called me out of the blue to see if I had gotten my '09 FX35. She's at Van Nuys Infiniti, deals are great right now, Money factor low this month, etc.

So what did you decide to do?
