OSRAM D2S bulb help

Im not sure how to spot the fakes, but as far as specs go, your best bet is to compare them off from Osram's website.

The top link is for CBI's, the lower link is for CBH. The CBH are the newest and brightest D2S bulbs on the market.

CBI - 5500k 3500lm
CBH - 6000k 3600lm

Yes, I was just looking at these two types yesterday.
I'm thinking of buying the CBH because of the color and brightness.

I'm pretty sure i bought my philips 5K color matches from that akinaboy(bottom link) seller a long time ago. they were legit. still running them.

also the top link is out of EU. you may have to deal with customs.

I would be careful with the very cheap first link. I bought one off ebay from a UK vendor for about $90. It only lasts me less than 1 year when it started to flicker. I contacted the seller and received a refund.

I replaced my HIDs with Garax. No issues.

lol, just checked the vendor on your first link. The vendor is based in the UK. Not sure if this is the same vendor I got mine from though but I could dig my emails and will confirm if it is the same vendor.

So I swapped out my headlight side marker and parking bulbs to Phillips 6000k led bulbs now I’m trying to find some 6000k d2s hid bulbs to match

If you don't care about light output and are only after color, why get Osrams?
I have the CBIs in both of my cars. Very nice bulbs - bright, white light. No hint of blue or yellow.

When I purchased the led for the side markers and parking lights I did not know they would have a blue tint to it. It’s not really that bluish just a hint of it enough to throw it off from the HID

If you looking for 6k color and not actual more light forget about those expensive bulbs. Osram cbi cbh cbb are like pure white color, i dont see any hint of blue in them but they are very bright. I have osram cbh from trs and amount of light output is amazing compared to oem bulbs, but still pure white color. Contact trs, im sure they have something you looking for, they have basic and still good 6k bulbs for around $60

You can check tbe authenticity of Osram bulbs here: Verify your product | OSRAM

You will find an individual code on the box or blister pack, which you simply enter into the above. This will then give you the correct code for the individual bulb, which should match the code on the base of the bulb.

I have the Osram CBI in my car and they were are a big improvement on the dim yellow output of the 4 year old factory originals

Osram make some great bulbs but the ability to check the authenticity is a big bonus given the amount of counterfeit bulbs out there, which is why I didn't even consider Philips. I have $30 dollar Lunex 6000k bulbs in my MB CL and they are great if you are wanting to spend less but want that crisp white light.
