Renegade Body-Kits

Hey Guys,

Just talked to Renegade Team about their body kit for the Fx, and they have gd news, they offer now free shipping to the body kits world wide although the body kits alone is expensive but worth the price compared to other kits in the market. kits without the hood is about 8.5K $.

Just wanted to let you know if any are intersted, I am but not before a couple month till I prepare a budget for that :).

man, if only I could make the same money in Russia as here in the states, I would persuade my wife to move back to Russia in a heartbeat... :disapointed: the car is gorgeous

8.5k isn't that bad everything considered.

I mean that's now getting well below the price threshold of a traditional custom widebody.

it'll run about $15k with prep/fit/paint. then ya got to drop at least $10k to get some new shoes and bbk/coilover to go wit it. way too rich for any fxers on this side of the pond...

Nah the kit would have to have pretty crap fitment to cost that much to get installed.

If you can get it to your door for 8.5, you can have it on the car for anywhere from 11-13. The only way you could get to 15 is if you want to change the colour of your car or something.

You could get the kit and the car wrapped in vinyl and installed for 11 grand easily.

The rest of the mods are independent from the kit and not really related to this conversation. But even if you wanted to include them: Akebono upgrade for the Gen 2 is less than 2k. Coilovers are 1k, and wheels with tires anywhere from 3k to 10k.

There are plenty of people on this forum who beyond or quickly approaching that much money dumped into their FX.

they'll have to spray the whole vehicle with that much body parts installed. but you certainly can get away with $11k with a maaco's special. someone dropping 8.5k on a wbk won't likely to skim on bbk with akebono kit. thus, $20k is pretty bad for mostly a look mod with everything considered...

I said 11-13k for the kit including paint, that is a range of $3500 to $5500, just to bolt on a body kit and re-spray half a car. That's a lot more than a Maaco Paint job there buddy.

And an akebono BBK is not "skimping".

Either way fine lets go with your assumption of 20k. THere are countless people on this very forum who have that much invested into their FX'es. So why you seem to think that the price tag is too rich for the people on this side of the pond is beyond me.

I think what your really trying to say is that you think it isn't worth it, or that you're too cheap to pay for it. Don't lump the rest of us in there with you...

Looks like the Obama not bad face.

Yep, my boys white gen 1 fx has at least 45-50k in mods. I'm sure plenty of guys can afford the kit if they liked it enough

I like this kit especially if paired with some super aggressive deep dish concave wheels and slammed on coils.

no interest in paying for installation and the paint on top of that lol. i guess for some people its worth it
